By reading all the latest articles on the net. We're hearing a lot of different names from our Freshman corp. It seems that we have a lot to look forward to from our Freshman class this year. What Freshman will make the biggest impact on the field for 2004? In my opinion it has to be Simeon Castille.

The guy is getting a lot praises from the coaches, he looks to be the real deal! That's just hope he can play as good as he practices....

impact

I sure hope it is the fr. class of WR's since that is where we have only 1 wr back with any catches. I have not forgotten AC....it just appears he will but be used very little on thre field this year.
However, I expect Turner juco DL will also make an impact.

Simeon has alot of hustle in front of him. Of course we read where he is fitting in the nickle package. I think it will be from our crop of recievers. We have heard alot of how impressive DJ Hall and Zeke have been in the early going. Then we read the atricle from Huntsville about how Britt is impressing. I think you will see more out of the recievers, just because they are the most visible on the field.

I do think it is kindof neat that these guys will get their share of time this year. That means that next year we will have good, young, but experienced talent on the field. 3 years form now..watch out!!

Need some help...

What is the name of the kid who played during the Spring game that was a freshman walk on receiver? He used to play at Vigor, I believe, and went into baseball before he decided to give football at Bama a try. I want to say it was Hall, but I could be mistaken.

In answer to your question, Castille.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Bama NTN, tell more about the scrimmage....How'd Brodie look? Castille?....Wortham...Mark Anderson?...Bates?

Brodie looked more confident than I've ever seen him. He also has been hitting the weights and the dinner table this summer. He was putting some exceptional touch on those 30-35 yard passes. I think he's going to break a few UA QB records this year.

Anderson was HUGE! I thought he looked more like a Rover than a DE last year. Not the case anymore. The SEC will now know the name Anderson after this season.

Didn't pay much attention to Bates or Castille.
