Yesterday, USA Today commented on the fast and highly successful start by Saban and Bama with respect to recruiting. If the country is noticing that Bama is cleaning up early, you know this fact hasn't escaped our cross-state rivals or their fans.
In the recruiting war, the present distance between the two school's results could hardly be wider. To Aubie's credit, they've remained fairly calm preferring to take solice in the fact that Bama and Auburn haven't been going head-to-head except with respect to a couple of recruits. However, it has to be unnerving to watch your principal rival reel in recruit after coveted recruit while the only hard recruiting news for your side is that 10 of last year's haul failed to qualify.
It got me thinking how Bama fans would react if the situation were reversed and Auburn had been doing this good.
