Now he just looks like he belongs at BamaI have also just heard this name thrown out there as another JUCO possibility.

With this guys size but no offer from us tells me he lacks either footwork or technique at this time. We may end up offering but I'm thinking some of the targets mentioned in Capstone's message are higher priority targets.I have also just heard this name thrown out there as another JUCO possibility.

Yes and no . The need is @ RT . No reason to sign a JUCO guy to come in and play behind Cyrus @ LT . Tunsil , Pocic and Golson would be options as left tackles . The Santa Marina kid is probably better suited for RT or guard .Leon Brown is he the top OT (for the left side) target at this point?
OT? Does that mean overtime? Off topic?
PRO - Alabama coaches have shown with Barrett Jones that you can begin your career at one position yet finish at another .tunsil who the coaches feel they have a good shot at.
LCN, don't you think we will go hard after a left tackle in this group? Yes, we need a right tackle to immediately play next year, but Cyrus will more than likely be gone the year after that. It would be great to get a guy who could either redshirt or play some behind Cyrus for a year before taking over. I would like to get two very good tackles in this recruiting class, and I wouldn't mind getting a third who may be a project.Yes and no . The need is @ RT . Don't forget we have Brandon Greene coming is who was a top 25 player by ESPN and played in the UAAA game. He has the size and feet to excel at LT. Brandon Hill is also coming in (if qualifies) and he is a good RT prospect (6'6", 350 lbs). We need good OT's in the class and some may play right away but we do have some good ones coming in the 2012 class.LCN, don't you think we will go hard after a left tackle in this group? Sure , but finding one good enough to play LT yet willing to sit for 2 years is asking way too much IMO . There are so many months to go and a lot would have to break our way for things to work out . It's a given that other schools will try to sign Brown as a LT and Tunsil will not announce until NSD . So , how do you continue to pursue those 2 without Pocic and Santa Marina heading elsewhere ? Signing 2 of those 4 would be as exceptional as it is doubtful .LCN, don't you think we will go hard after a left tackle in this group? If Cyrus goes pro after his junior year, a guy we sign in Feb. 2013 would only sit for one year. Anyway, thanks for all of your information. If I had to say , as things stand today , I believe Brown and Santa Marina would be about as good as we could hope for . Just being realistic .
