Where to watch IB in Boston?

I'm stuck in Boston tonight. Is there a place here where Tide fans gather to watch the Indy bowl?

Try Brother Jimmy's Barbeque in Harvard Square. The place has two large projection screens upstairs and several flat screens throughout. There may not be a lot of Bama Fans, but the place caters to southern sports (sec and acc). The food is pretty good also. I have watched several games there in the past.

Hey man! The Alumni watch the game at a place called the Sports Depot. My friend that used to live there says there is a pretty good crowd and he has met John Hannah there and Wesley Britt. I hope this helps.

Well, just hold off on the kickoff for a moment. Most of those bars and taverns sporting all those TVs are able to get only two events. And if a local team is playing, then guess what gets priority. PubClub searched far and wide to see our beloved Alabama Crimson Tide play a game on ESPN2 on a fall Saturday night, only to be squeezed out by simultaneous TV coverage of Boston College and the Red Sox.

After much searching, asking around, taxi rides and sprinting, we wound up at, of all places, a Marriott. Champions in Copley Square to be specific. Hardly the kind of Beantown flavor we wanted but it did have on the Bama game, as well as several others spread out over a couple of dozen TVs. With a pint of beer and multiple college football games to watch we could finally relax (especially after seeing the score in the Tide's favor). And, as good fate would have it, we were only steps from some really good bars – Whiskey, Pour House and Daisy's – with enough time remaining in the night to enjoy them'

I spent a lot of time in the mid 80's in Boston. I got to watch Larry Bird and company while I was stationed there.

It's kinda funny that you would say that b/c that's a primary reason I started TF many years ago when I was living in NYC and needed/wanted access to Bama info!

I remember. I followed Tide Fans and received good info from Bat123 and others while I was serving. Places you would never guess they would have Alabama Football on cable and satellite feeds. This site is a morale booster. :biga2:
