What????:conf2:

Raise your hand if you're not running Firefox.
I've never heard of Nuclear Cowboyz.

I'm not running FireFox. But, I have my pop-up blocker set so high that I actually have to right click on a link and choose 'open in new tab.' If I just click on a link that opens up into a new window it squashes it. Its a good thing though. Something had been hijacking my web page and saying I had some kind of virus and needed to download a antivirus program. Sometimes I could click the back arrow and get back to tidefans. But a couple times it actually hijacked my dsl settings so I couldn't display any web pages. Really annoying. And it only happened when I was browsing tidefans. Never happened on any other site. And it hasn't happened since I fixed my pop-up blocker.

Color me puzzled also, but I haven't run IE in years...
Its showing up in firefox as well. I've clicked it twice today accidentally when trying to click a link on a thread. It swoops in like a ninja right before I click whatever I really wanted to click. Theres nothing the user can do to get rid of it except wait a few seconds for it to run its course. I would imagine its even worse for people with slower computers.

Its not a true pop up. Its flash ad thats appearing on top half of the webpage. No separate window is opened.

I gotta agree with everyone else, its quite annoying lol.

I have no idea what y'all are talking about, so I hesitate in moving this from the football board.

Is this football related or what?
pop up advertisement that covers 3/4 of the screen. Similar to some of the pop ups on espn. It is at the top of the screen on tidefans, so when you are trying to click on a sportsboard this thing pops up and you click on it!
