Never will cheer for ut or the barn......just go read their message boards and you will have your decision made for you.
Question: Who to root for? Who wins? Chick-fil-A Bowl: UT v. VT

^^^^^this. I have many other reasons, and I never go to their message boards. Disdain for the orange puke since I was 6, even longer than my disdain for the barn.
It particularly irks the UTw people. On most of their boards, there is at least one anti-SEC thread on the front page all the time...
The good thing about Rocky Top--bear with me--is that everyone knows it when he hears it.
I expect that hearing Rocky Top tonight will bring a grin to my face... but likely only the first time.
I can't exactly pull for UT. If they win, it will be a good win for the SEC. If they lose, I'll enjoy the schadenfreude. This has nothing to do with Fulmer. My dislike of UT is much older than that. If they win, great. If they lose, hilarious.
I pull for all the SEC teams in their bowls EXCEPT for ONE and that is the barn. Go ahead and lose barn.... fail in a big way.

SEC love for this one. The Fat one ruined a classic rivalry almost singlehandedly (sp?). Now that he's gone, lets get back to where we need to be. GO VOLS!

I will be pulling for an ugly game, full of turnovers, missed tackles and dropped balls. I hope the SEC team wins on a last minute safety...from a muffed snap to the punter rather than a good defensive play.

This one's a toughie for me. I'm an SEC bigot; I pull for the SEC team in OOC games and especially bowl games. Trouble is, I sometimes read VolNation. Most posters there have off-the-chart hatred for Alabama. Hard to align myself with them. Furthermore, I've lived in Virginia for over 30 years and have some affinity for VT. Still, an SEC win, even if it's TN, contributes in some small measure to the cache that is the SEC.
This evening my wife and I will be going to some First Night performances in Williamsburg; but returning home in time to watch the second half. Maybe by then I'll figure out which team I hope wins.
Maybe by then the score will be such that it's a moot point. :cool2:

I'll pull for any SEC team to win, even when it's the team I hate more than any other team in America, including the Barn.
I don't think you can give Monte Kiffin this much time to prepare the UT defense for one game and not expect them to dominate a fairly average offensive team like Va. Tech. I'd look for UT to be in control throughout but to win a fairly low scoring contest.
