I think Spain wins today.

I am for Spain, but mostly because I lived in Europe in favor that continent over South America, where I would probably never live under any circumstances.
They’re doing what Auburn does: committing the same foul over and over again, knowing the officials will not call every single one of them and stall the game so that it lasts until Thursday night.
Auburn under Gus Malzahn did it repeatedly, committing DPI infractions and only maybe the first two or three would get called - and the officials didn’t want the game to be anything more than toss up a ball and a flag.
It enables him to get away with more later.
Halftime shows in soccer are just plain stupid.

(Of course, the NFL pre-season Hall of Fame Game will be in a few weeks (August 6).
I could never get my father-in-law (long-time Redskins fan) to understand that winning (or losing) a pre-season game matters not a hill of beans. If Team A loses a pre-season game by two scores, but they needed to see how the draft class performed at game speed and got to see those players in the situations in which they needed to see them, then that is a win in pre-season.
Willing big in pre-season, but not getting the film you need on players on the bubble is, in effect, a loss.
My father-in-law never did understand that.
The best team won today. I felt bad for the Argentina goalkeeper though. He definitely played like a champion today.
I want to thank @davefrat, @BamaBen15, @Isaiah 63:1, @CHATTBRIT, and @selmaborntidefan for the information and pointers to seek out other soccer leagues. It is all rather confusing for a new fan. There are so many leagues. English Premier League, English Football League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Conference League, Europa League, Scottish PFL, La Liga and several others listed in the streaming apps I have.
I already have Peacock, Paramount+ and ESPN+. I just did not realize there was that much soccer on those apps.
What is the USL, and what is the difference between USL1 and USL2? I saw it listed in one of the apps. Is this another pro league like MLS?
