Uh, Mark Ingram won the Heisman thanks to the Florida game......which despite the cries of Danny Kanell and others IS the "regular season."

Mark’s performance certainly helped his cause, but as I remember it Colt McCoy was considered the front-runner by the msm in that race until he laid an egg in the Big 12 title game that same day. He has a big game against Nebraska then he wins it. Instead he had a horrible performance and it opened the door for Mark.

It was because it was against Suh, not because it was a bad game. Suh divided the vote in the Southwest and Midwest and made Colt the 3rd place vote

I don't think it is fair to say Murray did not deserve the Heisman. Tua deserved it as well. There is only one trophy. Murray played his behind off against the competition that was scheduled, none of which he had control over. As for which one is best, I think we will see the obvious on the 29th. Tua and this team will be hungry; Murray and team will not have much fun IMO.

it really was a combo of bad luck between the ankle in the first series against UGA and Murray being historically great. Thats it. I just hope tua graduates/declares for the draft with a heisman. if he doesn't i'll carry that with me for as long as i live, i'm afraid.

The original OU fight song was a beautiful song but, unfortunately, contained far too many words for Sooner fans to remember.

Make no mistake: Kyler Murray DESERVED the Heisman.

This is not Charles Woodson or Gino Torretta.

Tua also deserved it, and it came down to a vote. Kyler's last visual was better than Tua's plus the shameless media campaign.

I think that last part is what sticks in the throat of Tide fans.
