I read on another board where an alumnist got to meet with Dr Witt yesterday at his home. He said that the topic of football came up and Witt said that the South End Zone expansion HAD TO BE DONE. The guy asked when and he said almost certainly right after the season ends. I like the sound of that :)

The best way I have found to deal with that is to stop at Hooters on the way home. ;):cool2: It takes a little while to get there but by the time you leave traffic has thinned a lot.
I hear that!! My mom has a motor home, we usually hang there until traffic dies down, that's fine as long as we win, but when we lose I'm in no mood to hang around.:)

What about traffic? When the expanded TS, the trip home for me went from 20 minutes to an hour and a half.
Yea, and parking, hotels, etc.

It'll be a while before they begin. They have to settle on a design, raise money and all. I kinda hope it a few years myself so the roads/streets, parking, etc to catch up with 92K.

The issue is decking the south end zone, not merely adding seats to the lower bowl. When the south end zone is decked, if things go as they have gone with the other exansions, the top few rows of the lower bowl beneath the new deck will be lost initially, and then replaced with new seating. My personal opinion is that none of the new upper deck seats will be allotted to students; however, the student seating would certainly be increased. Unless something has changed in the last couple of years, the capacity of the student section is set as a specified percentage of the total capacity of the stadium. I do not know what that percentage is; however, for the sake of argument, let's say 15%. Assuming a total stadium capacity of 100,000, the student section would be 15,000; however, it sounds from your post, as though the student section is already 15,000. Therefore, the percentage must be higher than 15%. Regardless, rest assured that the capacity of the student section will never equal the number of students enrolled at the Capstone. It's not going to happen.
