He has had a great season playing with Musah. That should only help with the upcoming international play.

It is a real shame about Dest tearing his ACL, he will be out for a while. That is a big hole to fill.

They might decide to go with three deep with two wingbacks. Tim Weah played some right wing for Juventus and has some offensive punch. Will be interesting.

Jedi and Weah and both pull off being wing backs. Behind Weah I suppose the next option will be Shaq Moore. Behind Jedi I guess Scally but that’s a pretty big drop off in the offensive buildup play on the left.

As for expectations for this tournament I would be very happy with a 4th place or above finish.

In spite of the score we’ve been competitive. I’m about done with Ream though. He’s clapped out. Think we need Richards or CCV in that spot.

We’re really starting to see Turner’s weaknesses exposed. He can’t distribute. Stop trying to build through him.

It definitely feels like Brazil is discombobulated right now.

Was a good game. Had it not been Allison in goal we’d have pulled that out.

We saw the best and worst of Matt Turner last night. On the one hand, 11 saves speaks for itself. He’s still a world class shot stopper.

On the other it was his lack of ability to distribute that gave them a goal. It was his turnover on an attempted long ball that resulted in the break that scored.

That being said had it not been Allison in the opposite goal we’d have won this game. The only thing we got by him was Pulisic’s extremely well placed free kick, but he made several other extremely clutch stops to keep it level. The only other time he got beat all game was Musah’s ripper that only found crossbar. Bad luck there.

Overall a good bounce back. The team that played last night is good enough to reach the semis.
