On BOL, it says UA Lands Monday Commitment, but i dont see anyone new on the commitment list...? Does anyone know who the new commitment is?
Does this mean that CNS is not feeling confident about Gibson, McKnight, or both?
Pretty sure Gibson is coming to Bama. I think Saban just wants to sign more than 1 WR IMO.
4.57 isn't exactly a burner... I would think he would be more of a 3rd down type... Then again, 40 times are often way off.
Maybe it's just me, but when I saw he committed, I basically said, "Whooptedo". Not ranked by either rivals or scout. No stars on rivals and 2 stars on scout. It's just hard for me to get excited about anybody who is anything below 3 stars. I know I know, a lot of people don't like the star system, but hey, there's a reason they use it. I also know people love to claim that some players are "sleepers". That's usually what fans seem to say if your team is the one that signed the guy. Most other schools probably don't see it that way. This guy may turn out to be great (like DeMeco did), but I'm ready to see these slots being takin up by 4 and 5 star players. I'd hate to tell some of the late 4 and 5 star commits, "Sorry, no more slots here because we already have 2 and 3 star guys." Getting Underwood yesterday didn't excite me either the way it did everyone else. I trust what Saban's doing, but I look forward to the days where two stars are a thing of the past.

... i thought we had already established that... But I always tell myself the following to keep my head right:
"Who do you trust? Nick Saban or Jaimie Newberg?"
