If CDM can start locking down the state of Mississippi, he will have a good team every year. With his style of offense and the type of offenses in high school, he can do well in Starkville. Right now, he is still working with Croom's run-oriented offense players.

Not that much of a stretch. Their 2 losses: Auburn by 3, and they came close, QB play kept 'em from the win. And LSU blew them out, but again, QB ineptitude kept them out of it. With a good enough QB, they beat AU, and hang with LSU (which is after all, coached by Les Miles).

I never said I would rather MSU undefeated over AU. I have MSU friends, and they would be going crazy if the Dogs were undefeated right now. I prefer neither to be undefeated.

Oh no, if that is true it could mean that Urban Meyer has called Mullen and told him his heart is hurting again and he is retiring after this year. Mullen is assuming Florida is gonna hire him and asked Brassell to wait and commit to Florida. OR, Georgia called and said they are firing Richt and they want Mullen, so he asked Brassell to wait and commit to Georgia........I am just speculating, though.

That's about the quickest decommitment I've seen..Sounds like Bama is a major player for his commitment..

IF this is the case, then this is a huge pickup for State. Mullen definitely is shaking things up in Starkville. I must admit, it's hard to pull against this guy and I love hearing him interviewed. His enthusiasm is infectious and he definitely has his fan base fired up.

He doesn't really explain why he made his choice other than he got caught up in the moment. I wonder if there were some outside factors in changing his mind.
