Couple months ago I harvested fruit from one of my Alexander palms - a variety known as 'Tuckeri'.
After removing the flesh I planted the seed. Half in baggies of moist sphagnum moss and half directly into soil (some in community pots and some in seedling trays).
The baggies have been indoors so better temps for germination and sure enough today after 2 months, I removed some that had sprouts on them!
I will plant these in individual pots today and now that I know my fruit is viable will harvest the remaining fruit from the tree.
