watching reality TV is grounds for divorceYTTV has two functions in my household: sports and keeping my wife happy. I hate 90% of the shlock on TV and if it was up to me, I would turn it off right after Alabama basketball is eliminated in the post-season. Alas, my wife watches TLC and various other reality TV shows, so I have to keep them around. If there's an upside to it, it frees me up to go to my home office and play Borderlands 4.

I have to make a correction to what I said here. On your home network you can use more than one TV device, but if a TV device starts streaming away from your home, you will get an error. TVs can only be use from one location at a time. https://support.fubo.tv/hc/en-us/ar...vices-Can-I-Stream-Fubo-From-at-the-Same-TimeWhile Fubo offers "Family Sharing" with their Pro and Elite plans, which allows for 3 streams away from your home network, it is only for mobile apps or web browsers. You are only allowed to watch on 1, that's one, "TV device" (Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire stick, app built into TVs, etc.) at a time, on or off your home network. So, this weekend, my dad used the Fubo app on his TV and I used the ESPN app with ESPN Unlimited.
It was a 5 day trial, so I have it until the 6th.Hey @CrimsonNagus, What's the trial time for this?
With the ESPN streaming, would that allow me to watch the basketball game tonight, which is only on ESPN+???
I did not know they allowed multiple households. It might be an option for this weekend if there is still no deal. It is just so much more than YTTV, $83 vs $115 for DTV Choice plan.I did the 5 day trial with DirecTV streaming, the Choice plan to include SEC Network. Also includes ESPN+. We share as a family as well and you can have up to 3 households and NOT limited to mobile app or browsers. Got my daughter set up and my mother in law. Both work great on AppleTV and Roku. I really like the Guide with DirecTV as they've been doing that part a long time. I still like the Library and Multiview with YTTV better. DirecTV does not have multiview.
They lost my sister. She did not want to fool around with trials and day passes, so Saturday morning, she canceled her YTTV and signed up for Hulu+Live TV.I wonder how many customers they've already lost that have subscribed to other services that won't return even if they do get it back?
Thing is, and I may be wrong, but I’m not sure FUBO has some of the channels that carry basketball later on…of course that’s next year. I’d like to stay with YTTV but since it’s a monthly rental it doesn’t really matter. I’ve always like liked YTTV’s interface better.CNBC this morning basically said YTTV has the leverage. Alphabet/Google (YT parent) is losing money on ESPN / Disney and they're tired of losing money and YTTV is a rounding error in Alphabet/Google's financials whereas they send multiple billions to Disney/ESPN in rights fees and ESPN's contract with fubo allows fubo access to ESPN+ so access is all within the same platform instead of having to go to the ESPN app like you do with every other streaming service to get the ESPN+ streams.
@CrimsonNagus earlier broke down the costs for fubo. YTTV is much simpler. Regardless, I'm keeping an eye on this and will make a decision this week whether to switch to fubo.
So does it include ESPN+ which is what the Bama basketball game is being aired on tonight?I have to make a correction to what I said here. You are correct. Fubo does not have TNT, TBS or TruTV, which are pretty big misses when it comes to March Madness.Thing is, and I may be wrong, but I’m not sure FUBO has some of the channels that carry basketball later on…of course that’s next year. Yes, but not in the Fubo app. Fubo includes ESPN Unlimited at no additional cost. This is ESPN's new direct-to-consumer streaming service, which includes all the ESPN channels (ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU, ESPN News, SECN, ACCN, ESPN on ABC, and ESPN+). EDIT: follow @BamaNation instructions. So does it include ESPN+ which is what the Bama basketball game is being aired on tonight?
So forgive my ignorance, but are yall saying you can only access the ESPN platform through a tablet/laptop but not thru the Fubo app on Roku???Yes.
1) Go to fubo.tv and signup for the trial (it is 5 days)
2) Select the Elite with Sports Plus subscription trial.
3) Once you're setup with trial, you need to go into your fubo.tv Settings > Account and activate the ESPN Unlimited. If you already have an ESPN/disney account you can use that. Otherwise create an account.
4) then it will associate your espn/disney acct with the fubo account and you can access it from the ESPN app or website using that login.
Download the espn app on rokuSo forgive my ignorance, but are yall saying you can only access the ESPN platform through a tablet/laptop but not thru the Fubo app on Roku???
