Thanks, but as long as I am imagining I will imagine Julio Jones and Rueben Randle split out wide on the left and right for Alabama to open up the season against Virginia Tech in Atlanta. If you don't mind.I think he lands at LSU from what ive been reading...
Anyways imagine this for the next few years
Julio Jones (#1 Sophmore WR) vs Patrick Peterson (#1 Sohpmore CB)
Rueben Randle (#1 Freshman WR) vs Dre Kirkpatrick (#1 Freshman CB)
Is it Patrick Johnson or Patrick Peterson? Rivals had him listed as Patrick Johnson last year and Scout had him listed as Patrick Peterson.I think he lands at LSU from what ive been reading...

Yeah but no one there to throw the ball, so they keep on running Ingram. Thanks, but as long as I am imagining I will imagine Julio Jones and Rueben Randle split out wide on the left and right for Alabama to open up the season against Virginia Tech in Atlanta. If you don't mind.![]()
Alabama will be stronger at the quarterback position than LSU.Yeah but no one there to throw the ball, so they keep on running Ingram.![]()
and maybe stronger in some ways than we were this year...Alabama will be stronger at the quarterback position than LSU.
I think you could very well be right.and maybe stronger in some ways than we were this year...
We have a better team though overall. And we're surely a lot better coached.
Beats hell out of having a QB throw pick sixes all seasonYeah but no one there to throw the ball, so they keep on running Ingram.![]()
One thing LSU fans seem to do that I've noticed (not particularly mentioning you, just saying) is be very pessimistic when dealing with new quarterbacks. Yes, there is always a chance that the quarterback situation will decline some, but I think there's just as much of a chance for a backup to step up and be an improvement. Just because LSU has had bad experiences with new quarterbacks doesn't mean that Alabama will as well. It's of course a possibility, but I don't believe it will be nearly as bad as at LSU this season.I like the confidence but Bama's QB situation is unknown.Replacing starter like JPW will be tougher than you guys think. Can you guys elaborate on what areas you guys expect to be better?
You guys should hope that Star or AJ whoever it is should step up as a clear starter. There is nothing worse than the 2 quaterback controversy.I remember when we had Russell and Randal and saban couldn't make up his mind.It was the most frustrating season ever.Even more than 8-5 season last year.
At QB, we will more than likely have JR Greg McElroy starting with Star as backup. Greg has a better touch than JP and he is more mobile. In his SR year in HS, he broke every QB record that Chase Daniel set the previous year. 4,687 yds, 56 TDs (still a Texas record) and 9 INTs in one year. He has a rifle for an arm and knows Coach Mac's system. I feel we will be much improved at QB next year. He is not an unknown factor, that's for sure.I like the confidence but Bama's QB situation is unknown.Replacing starter like JPW will be tougher than you guys think. Can you guys elaborate on what areas you guys expect to be better?

Sorry for being negative but thats what our experience with new QBs has taught us.I didn't mean to imply that you'll have a Qb like Lee who'll keep on throwing pick sixes. But whenever you have a first time starter at QB the team struggles.People here are saying that the team would be better in some ways than the 12-2 team.I was just curious to know how?One thing LSU fans seem to do that I've noticed (not particularly mentioning you, just saying) is be very pessimistic when dealing with new quarterbacks. All you have to do is look what Andre Smith's absence did to us in the bowl game... it's all about depth and competition at every position.Sorry for being negative but thats what our experience with new QBs has taught us.I didn't mean to imply that you'll have a Qb like Lee who'll keep on throwing pick sixes. But whenever you have a first time starter at QB the team struggles.People here are saying that the team would be better in some ways than the 12-2 team.I was just curious to know how?
