Bill King on Rivals Radio this morning was blasting UGA for having Cox in there saying there were at least 2 better QB's that should of been playing.... I was not impressed with Cox but then again I was not impressed with UGA period.. They have probably the best OL in the SEC or close to it well until their LT went down again... (not gonna even attempt to spell his name) but they had no run game period on a defense who was less than impressive last year......
Coach Richt is certainly under the gun this week-end and honestly his offense better do something because Arky will score points on that UGA defense they still are not very good so if UGA gets beat there will be alot of grumblings going on next door~!~

Isn't it generally well known that the back-up QB is often better than the starting QB? Especially when the team loses.

Gray maybe indeed be better, I'm just not sure that the game against OSU was a fair test of Cox's ability.

In any case, UGA could be tottering on the brink, here.

I don't care who plays quarterback for UGA, I would much rather see South Carolina win this one. I just want USC to have one banner year under Spurrier before he retires, even if that banner year means finishing only 2nd in the SEC East.

Didnt the dawgs get 2 very highly ranked QB recruits this past year? I thought the Murray kid from Plant High School in Florida enrolled early. Maybe they need to pull a USC and play the frosh.

The georgia fans are quaking in their boots at the possibility of a losing season. MANY are losing confidence in the "king of the tanning bed', CMR. I'm so happy to be sitting where I'm sitting right now. It feels good.

Please forgive me if I sound bitter, but living in atlanta does not lend itself to liking uga or their obnoxious fans.

LOL!:biggrin: I've never been overly impressed with MR.MR
Let's face it, there is a good chance that the Dawgs have fallen to at best, 4th overall in the SEC, and if Ole Miss is for real then maybe 5th.

We get Clifton Geathers back to add more depth to our line and Dion Lecorn is back to help us in the pitches/sweeps with his blocking. I hope we win this one

It's funny you say that, truer words have never been spoken. I lived in Atlanta for four years, didn't really care one way or the other about UGA before that, hated them after we left. My wife is from TN, grew up in Knoxville and says the same thing. And it's not just football, they think they are some kind of Ivy League school on the academic front to.

I know there is a lot of love for Georgia on this board. I don't know why. I think Richt better get it together cause his football team looked pretty average against Oklahoma St.

If all he's got is one linebacker and a safety taking shots at people's heads he might lose considerably more than he is used to losing.

Being favored by 7 is mostly about the home field I guess. I don't see an advantage over S. Carolina much of anywhere else.
Did you see South Carolina play last week? They looked absolutely awful on offense. Their defense looked pretty good, but it seemed that was mostly because NC State was even worse on offense. I do think USC will play UGA tough, but I am picking UGA in this one due to the home field advantage.

I did, however, only pick UGA to go 7-5 this year due to some issues they have and their schedule. We shall see if I am correct.

The big hit by the UGA defensive back right before OK. St. scored the last touchdown was a crap call. I actually got mad about it because I don't like those weak calls in football. The guy didn't lead with his helmet or make contact with the OSU player's helmet. It was a good, hard, CLEAN hit. I see the type of team that Coach Saban is building at Bama, so I don't want us to be penalized for knockin' the slobber out of people. I don't like dirty play, but hard hits fire my tail up.

That was my prediction before the season, which is why I have UGa going 7-5 this year. Of course, I also picked Bama at 10-2 with a loss to Va. Tech, so what the heck do I know?

You took the words right out of my mouth. I never had a problem with UGA until I moved to Atlanta.
I feel the same way. I'm glad we were able to shut them up last year. This is the honest truth, but a coworker had the nerve to say if the game would have been another quarter we would have beaten you guys. He isn't that original so I'm sure he was just repeating what he heard.

I agree. That was a garbage call on a great hit. I can see why the Dawg fans were po'ed about that one.

I know one thing. After Cox ran his mouth after the game those fans will turn on him BAD if he doesnt play well Saturday. Could get ugly.
