This is my picks for the final commits we secure. I have 29 players but Devonta Bolton has not qualified. I feel we will get Hankins or another DL due to us only getting 2 DL so far. What do ya'll guys think??

RB- JALSTON FOWLER
HB- HARRISON JONES

WR- RONALD CARSWELL
WR- KEENAN ALLEN
WR- DEANDREW WHITE
SLOT- COREY GRANT
KEIWONE MALONE
TE- BRIAN VOGLER

OT- ARIE KOUANDJIO
OG- CHAD LINDSAY
OC- WILSON LOVE
OG- AUSTIN SHEPARD
OT- JAMES STONE

DE- ADRIAN HUBBARD
DT- BRANDON LEWIS
NT- JOHNATHAN HANKINS

SAM- JARRICK WILLIAMS
MIKE- CJ MOSLEY
WILL- DEVONTA BOLTON
JACK- ALFY HILL

CB- JOHN FULTON

K- CADE FOSTER
P-JAY WILLIAMS

I do think we get Arie and Stone, and I could see Fulton going either way right now.

That said, though, I just don't see either Hankins or Dixon happening. I just don't see Hankins passing up both Michigan and Ohio State to come 1,500 miles south, and I think early playing time will put Dixon at either Auburn or Tennessee. I'd love to get both -- and I don't guess I would be totally shocked if we nabbed one of them -- but I'm just not expecting it now.

I have no inside info, just MHO based on rivals articles, etc. I think we finish with these guys. We probably won't sign Bolton unless he can come in January. I also don't think we get Dixon (we prolly have an outside chance, but it's a tough pull). With Bolton's academic issues (really strange considering he was redshirting this year at JUCO), I think we'll push for another LB (I have no idea who) just b/c it seems that the staff had that slot for a backer. We're still pursuing the WR Dunkley too, but as BET said in another thread, with the Pahokee issues I hope he ends up at UF (or anywhere other than Bama to be honest).

IMO:
Fulton
Mosely
Stone
Arie (possibly Coleman if Arie doesn't commit to Bama)

Then if the 28th spot is used:
Dunkley(2nd most likely)
Lemonier
Hicks
Dixon(most likely)

Without any decommitments that will be all. However, I think a National Title will go along way with next year's class. Seeing as how early playing time has declined and will continue to decline in the future.

I really hope we get Arie and consequently his younger brother (I'm hearing they're a package deal). I just have a feeling about these 2.

I know some folks close to the Dematha program out here and they say they are constantly amazed by the mental, character, and especially physical attributes of the Kouandjio brothers.

Seems to me that we can offer early playing time on the defensive side of the ball with a very clear conscience. We lose so much, and even though we believe that there is quality depth ready to step in, in some cases that might not be the case.

I can easily see a big name kid not on any of these lists giving us a look after the BCS game.

We can't give the early PT pitch like AU or Tenn can with a guy like Dixon. Listening to what recruits say, CNS doesn't offer "early playing time," he offers "opportunities" to all the players he recruits. He never guarantees any PT, but says they have to earn it. Oddly enough, more players like honesty than sugar-coated promises (sarcasm). Another poster mentioned Hicks...just from looking at rivals, we are not in the running with him. I'm really interested to see who the staff goes after for that last spot.

how come nobody mentions christian jones at OLB? did he commit somewhere else or something? he loved it at bama and said we were one of his top schools. guys a beast.

"Promising" EPT to any HS kid is a sign that the college team is in trouble. Promising an opportunity for EPT is a no brainer and CNS has proven that he will not hesitate to play a youngster that has earned PT. Actually, on a team that is competing for championships, playing time as a soph (or RS frosh) is EPT and we just had a true soph win the Heisman.
Although all kids want to play as early as possible, only the kids with the confidence to play among the best and with the patience to earn their PT will be interested in the Tide.......CNS can find them.....and there are plenty of them.
This will be another tremendous recruiting class.
