OR perhaps another question: if Bama wins the big one on Jan. 7, is BDS full to capacity on A-Day again just like CNS first spring game?Is it too soon to plan an A game trip?
Well that BamaMoon is anyone's guess, but I'm certainly going to be there to see for myself how full it gets.OR perhaps another question: if Bama wins the big one on Jan. 7, is BDS full to capacity on A-Day again just like CNS first spring game?
And will they have the stadium expansion completed by A-Day to allow even more to see it?OR perhaps another question: if Bama wins the big one on Jan. 7, is BDS full to capacity on A-Day again just like CNS first spring game?
I doubt it.And will they have the stadium expansion completed by A-Day to allow even more to see it?
I haven't really read about the expansion at all. I remember watching a game this season and hearing something like "This time next year there will be over 100,000 fans watching". Have they given an ETA on the completion?I doubt it.
I think its going to be near capacity no matter what, for the QB battle alone.OR perhaps another question: if Bama wins the big one on Jan. 7, is BDS full to capacity on A-Day again just like CNS first spring game?
All they've said is "in time for the first game" which, given the progress compared to what I remember with the North, seems reasonable.I haven't really read about the expansion at all. I thought it was Blake Sims enrolling early. Not trying to argue, I hope you are right.I think its going to be near capacity no matter what, for the QB battle alone.
You've got Greg McElroy returning (and of course should start), Star Jackson, AJ McCarron and Phillip Sims will be enrolling early and will be there for spring practice (I believe).
You've also got a lot of turnover on defense as well.
The expansion will not be complete at Bryant-Denny until this summer. We will have to wait til construction at Bryant-Denny is complete and the stadium seats 101,000+ before we can break the spring game attendance record and I don't know how that can happen until the spring game in 2011.We need to regain the A-Day attendance record. I believe Ohio State regained the spring game attendance record last spring
