I have no problem giving Coach Grant time to get it together. That being said blowing a 20+ point lead and losing three games by one point and not even get a shot of in the last few seconds in two of those games with the ball is unacceptable no matter how long a coach has been at a place.

We pretty much have the same cast of characters as last year, so why expect a huge difference??? Saban had the same problem his first year.

When the opposing players get up in our players' grills, we fold like an accordion. Same as last year.

CAG has gotten them to at least hustle and play defense (our 2nd half tonight notwithstanding).

Only a roster overhaul gets different results.

Eerily similar to Coach Saban's first year. Have moments of excellence, but can not FINISH. There is a reason that Coach preaches FINISH all the time.

I sure hope so. This was a pathetic job by everyone involved, including Grant.

I feel sorry for our guys. This has to be heartbreaking for them to lose all of these close games, and then lose one that you had complete control of. They are playing hard, they just don't seem to have a purpose out there.

It has to be frustrating for Coach Grant and the rest of his staff. I'm hoping for a good showing against Kentucky. We've had some weird luck up there in the past, maybe we can bring some of it back.

This season is not in the can yet, almost, but not yet. We can salvage this by hunkering down and then making a run in the tournament. We might make it to the NIT, which would give us more practice time.

Roll Tide!

Nothing against our players now......but honesty compels me to say that we have one of the least talented teams in the league. Our two best players, Green and Torrance, are just decent players. Take Torrance's left hand away from him and his night is over. And Green needs to work alot on finishing when he gets the ball in the post. Seems like he puts it on the floor when he gets the ball in good shape down there, and that allows the defense to collapse on him.

I'm embarassed for those guys. It must be emabarassing to blow a 23 point lead. I knew they were going to hit their inevitable 8 minutes long cold streak. I didn't realize it was going to be a 20 minute one tonight. Oh well realistically, there are two players on the current team that can play division I ball, and there isn't anyone on this team that is a legitimate shooter. They have some guys who can get hot, but no one who is a consistent threat.

They play hard. They play hard enough that no one will want to play them in the SEC tournament, but playing hard isn't always enough to win games. Most of the guys on this team are just outclassed. They aren't fast enough or big enough to run with their opponents for forty minutes.

I feel bad for them, but I respect their effort.

Now go get some big dogs that can hunt Coach Grant...I'm not seeing any studs on our chalkboard.

I think making it to the finals in the SEC tourney will be the only way to get a post-season invite. These last three losses really "damage the brand," as the ad men say.

Frankly, I doubt it happens but Roll Tide anyway. I hope the guys surprise me, if only to give Torrance some spotlight in his senior season.

That's the worst part. We are in every game but our record stinks. This game was nothing short of embarrassing. UP 20 plus points and LOSE by what- 7? To get outscored by 27 points? Think about that for a second- Ole Miss scored a total of 20 points in 20 minutes and then OUTSCORED us by 27 on their way to a 54 point HALF!!!!!
