Hatred and Bitterness of some fan bases

A co-worker who is a huge Notre Dame fan has already said "Now that Ingram is injured all the Bama fans will use this as an excuse as to why they didn't win it all". I am so amazed at the jealously and hatred from some people. Just enjoy the game; after all WE don't play the game I told him, they do.

Obviously has zero understanding of Bama fans. There is no excuse for not winning it all.

Did I miss something? I haven't heard anything about Ingram being injured.

I don't care what team it is, I hate seeing these kids get hurt, especially something as terrible as what happened to Prothro. I would never make jokes about something like that.

Don't forget these are the same group of incestuous tards who rolled a tree when Bear Bryant died and laughed at John Mark Stallings' defect.

It's sad knowing how little man's syndrome can make even adults act inhuman.

Aubies on Finebaum are just giddy. What I don't get is why? According to THEM Mark is the SAME guy who they shut down and who is totally overrated and underserving of the Heisman. Right? Oh let's not forget he is not the best back on our team even less so in the state.

I bet he thinks it means Laptop Newton is the leading candidate for the Heisman.

Remind him that football is a TEAM sport, and that Ingram's backups--Richardson at least--would start on most any other team (including the Barn). Of course, it looks like Richardson is starting for the time being, which isn't a bad thing at all. Show him some tape of Trent during the BCSNCG, or heck, that run during the Arkansas game last season where he broke, what, five tackles for a 50-yard or so run. That's when I realized how good he was, and that he was a not-too-shabby backup (or starter for that matter).

Also, remind him how our Defense did after Hightower went down for the season against Arkansas.

Then again, that is using logic, not exactly the Barn's strong suit (especially when dealing with Alabama).

While I hate Mark being injured at the same time realize we are in the luxurious position of still being 3 deep in our running back roster that just about any team in the nation would covet. I honestly don't think we miss a step and this weekend will see a preview of the 2011 starting backfield once McElroy heads for the sidelines.

I read that Toomer's Corner was rolled at about 2:00 p.m. I hope they are not doing that because of Mark's injury. I read it on the ESPN board.

I've already had a barner approach me at work gloating. I'm thinking, #1, we have plenty of hosses in the backfield, so it's really not an issue, #2 it's not a bad injury, and #3 why are you happy that someone got hurt? Classless...

It's a fact. People show their true character when things go bad, whether to them or others.

The barner in question is displaying his family oriented character. Nothing more.
