Impressed with:

Alabama: Dominated an inferior opponent, scored at will, and controlled a legit offense.

Arkansas: Impressive poise to win on the road against a legit opponent. We will have our hands full next week.

LSU: May finally have gotten the offense together.

South Carolina: The best team in the SEC East? Signs point to yes.

Texas Tech: Hung with the 'Horns, but lost composure at the end.

Vandy: Hey, they got an SEC win.

Not impressed with:

Va Tech: Seriously?

Ole Miss: May be the worst team in my lifetime at Oxford.

Auburn: Was physically dominated by a middle-tier ACC program, and had to hang on for the win. Cam Newton is not as good as the hype, especially when pressured.

Tennessee: Lane Kiffin sure did a number on this program. They better hope the NCAA doesn't come calling, it could be a long decade up there.

Florida: Couldn't put away a pitiful TN team until late.

Miss State: Just bad.

Michigan: Rich Rod's squad gives up 37 to U Mass?

Notre Dame: We have to wait yet another year for ND to become relevant again.

LSU Kicked 5 Field Goals -- sounds more like our Offense 4 years ago

First year QBs are not the same as First year RBs.... Texas, Florida are both seeing that. Oklahoma is further ahead because Landry Jones got meaningful snaps during the Bradford era. Texas and Florida can blame their offensive struggles on the fact that they left their other starting QBs in the game too long over the last couple of years.

Seeing AJ as much as we have so far isn't an accident.

Impressed:

Alabama - Offense is really really clicking, but the defense needs to tighten up - now.

Michigan State - Kept fighting against ND, and as much as it kills me to say this, they seemed to have gotten a little Auburn-lucky with the play clock on that gutsy fake FG pass call. Still super super gutsy though.

Arizona - They didn't give up after Iowa came back to tie the game.

Clemson - Despite the loss, they showed something that probably took Auburn (and their fans) by surprise in running right at them. That Clemson O-line was opening super large holes. Dabo should've never gotten away from that in their last drive in regulation.

Unimpressed:

Auburn - Need I say more? I know I'm coming off as a homer, but winning a game because the long snapper double pumped the ball? Plus, they were getting manhandled physically, and had to resort to dirty hits/late hits to take away Clemson's strength.

ND - New coach, same results.

LSU - When you're only scoring in the 20s against Vandy and MSU, your offense isn't clicking. This is even more of an indictment considering the talent that LSU has on offense.

Florida - A win is win, but your offense sorely misses Tim Tebow. Plus, your defense sorely misses Charlie Strong.

By scores/schedules alone I am impressed with Bama, Ohio State and Oregon. Everyone else is playing catch up.

Unimpressed with Texas. Mack, that is NOT a running game you think you have.

Also impressed with Oregon.

Not impressed by Auburn, but amazed by the hype.
^This. Holy fruit loops Auburn has a whole bunch of hype. If I were a fan, I would be happy for getting the W but very leery of what may come in the next few weeks once they start playing the rest of the SEC. For two weeks in a row, Auburn has won because the opposing team has beaten themselves.

And Oregon looks pretty legit to me, but we will see.

I just need to know how you can call Ole Miss a legit opponent in line one then turn around and say they may be the worst team in your lifetime at Oxford?

Oregon is Good.

Alabama that was just a mudhole stomping.

NC State I must say I am surprised by them.

Arizona .. they took advantage of everything that happened and then pressed on and won the game.

Vanderbilt woot they finally won one!

LSU they have a great kicker!

Clemson and Dabo he may yet be a good HC I was and am still a little iffy on that but they took it to the tigers all the way.

Air Force after BYU they kinda got on my radar .. now they are definitely on it.

.........

Oklahoma - didn't

Arkansas - didn't

ND - definitely didn't

Michigan - nope

Auburn they are who I thought they were so can't say good or bad. They do have that one defensive player finus or something like that .. that impressed me.

No Nebraska? I was impressed with them at Washington which seems pretty though to play at and they destroyed Locker.

I was impressed by our offense.

Oregon, but i'd like to seem them against a quality opponent.

Ohio State looks good too.

I would say Nebraska, but they have some fumbling issues, so I'd say they are an elite team, just not in the same category as my top 3. Us and Oregon are the two most dominant followed closely by Ohio St. After those 3, I think there's a drop off Nebraska at #4 and with TCU at #5; they have impressed me a lot more than BSU so far this season.

If you were impressed with Texas Tech for keeping it close with a overrated Texas team then you should be impressed with a outmanned Tennessee team keeping it close until the end with Florida.

I don't expect Nutt to be at Ole Miss after this year. The schedule just gets harder from here and they have shown NO improvement since the opening week loss.

Still think it will take a really big collapse for Richt to be fired this year. He will probably be gone after next though.
