THat actually seems to be the most sound news I've heard regarding his recruitment. He's been trying to express that he is undecided this whole process and as much as I would like to believe it, I just can't get behind the "Bama lock" stuff. I see it backfire on fans all the time. Hopefully he chooses Bama.

Question if you are so close to the family where were you last year during this time with Arie.
I'm not close to the family. I am a family member, and not some distant cousin... the above video was shot in the family house, the letters arie shuffles at the beginning are his scholarship letters and letters football programs sent him. at this time last year i think arie was gearing up to take his last visit and was getting ready to pick a school on NSD...
not the one to call out people but this guy is 80% likely a fake and jerking peoples chain sorry if your not ill apologize but you have a low post count and came onto the board in January now having info about Cyrus who sold Arie to come to bama and saying everything is even please stop trolling. Cyrus may not even go to Iowa this weekend and likely not to go to Auburn next weekend and If there was any thing close to a lock in this class it was Cyrus. His parents stated last year they wanted both of them to go to the same school. Arie picked BAMA so where would Cyrus go in this circumstance?

I am tending to agree with you. Especially after reading the interviews with Arie last year. If Cyrus was a senior last year he would have commited before Arie. Also this poster has shown nothing to validate who he is. Except saying he his friends with the family, was there for the video, and shared his opinion. Whoever he is I really do not care because in the end Cyrus will be at UA come fall.
If you are a family member please give us a family pic of u and Cyrus or Arie for that matter? And if thats to much please tell us why cryus may not take a Iowa visit today? Also is Cryus playing in another all star game? please answer something Also i know the answers to the following questions so make sure you look hard on the internet.
1- weak argument... yes i just joined this tread, and the only reason i joined this thread was because they were discussing how to pronounce our name. i've been following lots of threads on different cites since arie started getting recruited but this is the first one i have ever posted a comment on. In case you didn't know, family members do follow these forums, we like to get a pulse of what fans are saying. having a low post count does not mean anything my friend. everyone on this board had a low post count at some point.
2- never did the parents say that they wanted both to play in the same school. This would be putting pressure on cyrus to go to a school that might not fit him. We want cyrus to make his own decision and the rest of the family is behind him just for support. This is too big of a decision for someone else to make it for him. At the end of the both arie made his own choice and cyrus will make his too.
3- Cyrus just finished taking his SAT and he's on his way to IOWA as we speak.
4- No need to apologize over this board my friend, i'll come down to t-town this year a couple of times, you can apologize to me then by inviting me to your tailgate party if you have one.
Regardless of who this guy is does anyone know the relationship between Cyrus and Arie? Reason I ask is sometimes brothers are close, but sometimes they are definitely not. Sometimes brothers (or any siblings) want to make their own "mark". I remember when Simeon Castille committed to Alabama. He always seemed like the rebel of the family, so I was afraid Tim being on the team would actually be a negative for him. Didn't turn out that way though. Just wondering. Sounds like the brothers are close, but I might be wrong on that one. If they are close I just can't for the life of me see him wanting to line up against him with one of our biggest rivals. Now Iowa I have no idea about. Can't see him wanting to go there because of the obvious. It's not the South.
Jam, I really think you are the biggest poser on our site. Quit harassing our guests, and please learn to use proper grammar. I don't think you have ANY sources in recruiting (outside of maybe belonging to some websites), and simply act like a big shot here to impress.
Magnanga_boy, please stick around and avoid jam. Obviously we'd love to have Cyrus at Bama, we'd all be very excited about it. It looks like he is being extremely intelligent about his choices, which is rare in recruiting. He was obviously raised very well.
If Cyrus does not come to Bama, as long as he does not end up in the SEC, then I won't lose any sleep. I can certainly understand him wanting to take his time. This is a huge decision and if he makes the wrong one, then he will regret it BIG TIME!!. With that said, I would be shocked if he did not sign w/us on NSD... RTR!!!
Im so glad u think so this could easily turn into a flame fest however me and Mag did talk privately unfortunately for u there are plently of people to back up what i say on here and other posters on this board. SO please go somewhere else with your flame. And im worried about grammer on a message board. Hey at UA i always got A's on my English papers but thank u for worrying about that for me.
By the way people, i'm not very good at spell checking my stuff... that would explain the numerous mistakes i made in my previous post. I honestly don't know at this point where cyrus will land next year. Cyrus himself does not know where he will land next year, and that's why he's still taking visits. A decision hasn't been made yet. Arie being there is just one thing T-town has that the other schools do not. but that could be both a positive and a negative thing. I will tell you one thing though, t-town has by far the best fans in the country. With that being said, Coach pendry who was arguably the best o-line coach on the country is gone, but then again, coach saban is arguably the best coach in college football and a legend. The weather in AL is not that bad either. ha ha.
