Frankly, I don't know what to think about any or all of this. I had high hopes we'd land CK and hearing "Auburn" come out of his mouth made my jaw drop. But... something in his heart made him do that and I just hope wherever he ends up he doesn't go around with 2nd thoughts.

If that's the case..He just needs to come out & say i made a mistake..No matter how he puts it..The Barners will hate him with a passion..You think the meltdown on here when he picked auburn was bad..It will pale in comparison to the "Mother" of all melt down in Lee County..

Not going to happen. There are too many of us who follow recruiting closely and there is too much $ involved with ESPN and the recruiting sites.

You seem pretty passionate about your opinion... Honestly you are starting to sound a little jaded.

At this point, whatever he ends up doing will be the best decision for him whether its Auburn or Alabama. I dont know how works in your family but in my family and most everyone else's that I know you dont make these kind of decisions in a vacuum.

I bet Spencer Region wishes he would have thought his decision through better about 12 months ago...

Jenn Brown from down on the Barn said no LOI had been faxed as of yet...hopefully he realized there's a lot more to college than cow patties and blind promises

I hate to say it but it would have been easier to just pick a hat ha ha just having fun. It will work out for the best just as long he is happy where he goes. Recruits will surface next year that people will feel the same about. It's funny that sometimes we forget that Alabama has signed some of the kids we start hearing names from during spring practice.

Maybe were running a sting operation on the boogs. Kinda dangling CK out in front of them to see if they'll go that last step and throw in the money. Ehhhh....I have to keep thinking of scenarios to try to understand this one. I just don't see how a friendly family rivalry can exist between bama and the boogs. I think he comes to his senses. I still don't get it why auburn recruits are so successful at recruiting other guys to sign with their class yet at Alabama we can't even get a recruits brother to persuade him to come to us.

I honestly think he is going to have 2nd thoughts either way. If you're familiar with the Myers-Briggs, I think CK might be a "perceiver." He seems to be of that personality type, especially after this drama unfolded.

Sooo, who can talk to who in this situation? I assume coaches can't call him. I wonder if he can call coaches. I would normally assume current players couldn't call him but family members could. I would hope Arie gets on the phone and starts recruiting him.

I agree this whole process is crazy. BC and CK for us and just saw that F Raven now to aTm. These kids are already under so much pressure and being forced to make life changing decisions to entertain adults and make money for others to report on it.
