“Nick Saban’s going to take over and talk,†Clowney said. “He talked the whole time he was there. I was dozing off. He can talk. A lot. He talked for a whole straight hour.â€Â
Indicates to me he thinks he knows it all, and will have a hard time "listening" to what those who know more want to say. I see that as a major problem for him.[/QUOTE]
Maybe he's so dumb that he just could not understand Coach Saban. Maybe Coach was talking about how he could help develop him into an NFL ready athlete and he just could not grasp or understand what Coach was saying.
Why didn't Clowney talk. Was he tooooo dense?
I'll be pulling for USCe to go 0 - 12 each year for the next few years. I never thought I'd pull for Florida or Tennessee, but I will now when they play USCe. This is not because he committed to USCe but what he said about Coach Saban. I say this knowing that there is freedom of speech in our country.
Also, when it comes to coaching, there are not many that Coach Saban needs to listen to, even knowing that an old dog can learn new tricks. Again, I just really don't like that statement that he made. Some things, you just don't say even if you think them.
I would like to be a fly on the wall when Coach Saban heard what he said, if he did. Has Clowney heard a coach in the SEC that knows more than Coach Saban when it comes to coaching? I guess maybe Coach Superior.
In one of the articles, it stated that he does not like to read. Maybe that's one of his (Clowney's) problems academically. If you don't read how are you going to learn? Well, also when you don't like to listen to educated people that's another strike that helps you remain uneducated.
My recommendation to Mr. Clowney. Please read Proverbs to gain wisdom/understanding so that you can show discretion when speaking.
