Well. What a great win against Arkansas for the first SEC game of the season. We head to The Swamp for probably our biggest test of the season so far. Florida is looking a lot better than what they did last year, but I think our experience and depth on D wins this one. AJ I believe will have a nice game as well. I think it will be closer than the Arkansas game for sure, but I do see us winning.

Yeah. I'm not real confident in that prediction. This defense is scary, but Florida has put up some points on two SEC teams (TN and KY, which neither team is all that great). I wouldn't be surprised if we keep them under 17.

My heart says we win big, but my gut is uneasy and says it is way too close for comfort. I think our D and their lack of D will be the difference. I think a score in the 4th puts this one away...

I don't see why we can't put the same smack down on them like we did last yr? Not much has changed since then for them, besides a new coach. The offense they were running last yr was the spread, which most of their recruits were recruited to play. Now they are trying to run a Pro style with spread style (smaller players)

They won't score more than 3 times, two of which will be field goals after bogging down in the red zone. I think AJ finally connects on a couple of those deep passes he's been so close on, and the running game produces big again. It's going to be close through 3 quarters, but we wear them down in the 4th. Florida will be the best team we've played to date, and they'll be our toughest opponent all year besides LSU.

But we'll win, 28-13.

The game will be won in the trenches as our OL handles their DL but not without some early struggles. On the flip side though, our DL and LB blitzes are going to destroy their OL and probably send Brantley to the bench in pain. I said 38-3 in the "Call your shot" preseason thread and I'm not afraid to stick with it. I hope the "38" part happens early in the 3rd so the crowd will clear out a little. We have to drive back to Jacksonville to the hotel. I just don't think Florida is any better than they were last year and I believe we are much better at this point in the season than last year. I think Lacy might go all 1996-Baton-Rouge-Shaun-Alexander-ish on them.
