If they played us, Arkansas, and lsu during the regular season, they would have lost all three of those too. They had a very easy schedule.

Guess what, Oregon went to BCS game without winning last year.

Plus any model that doesn't involve all conferences (Including the lesser ones) getting an automatic bid are destined for failure. NCAA has to approve all post-season games, and they would never approve anything past the bowl games that didn't involve everyone.
