BCS Computer Rankings: It's LSU, Alabama for national title!!!

This will make it easier for those wanting to follow the computer rankings whenever they release. AS of now (10:27 am cst) only 2 computer polls have been released. They go as follows:

Jeff Sagarins
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma St
4. Oklahoma (really?)
5. Stanford

Peter Wolfe
1. LSU
2.Alabama
3. Oklahoma St
4. Arkansas
5. Kansas St


There are four remaining polls to be released. Your highest and your lowest scores get tossed. Now that we can see that Alabama has second place in at least two computer polls, it looks like the hill for Oklahoma St got a little steeper.

PLEASE, if you see another one of the polls released, post...I am taking the kids to see Santa today, so I'll only have my phone to check things on. Also, if someone would post the Human Polls in here when they are released too that would be amazing!

The USA Today says that both the USA today poll and the Harris poll will be released this afternoon.

More will be know once the USA TODAY coaches poll and Harris Interactive polls are released Sunday afternoon. The final standings will be unveiled in the evening and until then there will be some nervous people in both Stillwater and Tuscaloosa.

That's not the correct page for the Massey rankings. The computer poll websites are really, really badly designed. I think this is the page of interest for us: http://masseyratings.com/rate.php?lg=cf

Look at the next-to-last column on the right to find his BCS rankings. Also, note that as of right now, it hasn't been updated to reflect yesterday's games. The date is at the top, and OSU is still listed as 10-1.

Therefore, when we see the coaches poll, assuming we have more than 60% of the 2nd place votes, OSU will need half or more of the 2nd place votes in the Harris Poll.

Things starting to look a lot better than they were 12 hours ago...

Sagarin has Oklahoma 6 -- You need to use the ELO Chess ranking!

Where on the Massey site does it say updated? I keep pulling up games through 11-26?

This thread is not accurate. The misinformation is doing more harm than good by adding to the confusion. Only ONE ranking has officially been released. Here are the actual numbers:

Jeff Sagarin's ELO CHESS
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma St
4. Arkansas
5. Kansas St

Peter Wolfe hasn't been officially released. Nor has Massey. There are rumors of a Wolfe private tweet, but nothing more.
