Tickets in hand. Where are you sitting?

Friend who is looking texted me yesterday saying he found some for $875. (I believe it was ticket City). I just checked and stubhub was $950, ticket city $925.Prob be under $750 by next week.
Yeah, actually yesterday, the tickets at Ticket City were down to like $790 plus the $200 dollar service charge. If anyone is interested there is also a discount code that will knock off 5%. It is HUSKERS5.
That's the million dollar question.
Generally, a few things to consider to limit your odds of getting scammed.
1- Buy from a reputable dealer. If purchasing on Ebay, make sure the seller has plenty of feedback and a good rating.
2- Pay with paypal so if you do get duped, you have somewhere to go to get your money back.
3-I try to make sure I have plenty of contact with the person I'm buying from - emails, phone calls, follow-ups.. etc. which I think would limit the opportunity to get fake tickets.
Remember - if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. I think the main place to get fake tickets will probably be more with the people who are planning on going to the game and buying tickets around 'Nawlens. I'm sure there will be plenty of scams going on down in

Buying off of a guy on craigslist. I have his phone number address and pics of tickets. We are going to his office to pay for them and pickup tickets. Said he is family of former player and that they gave him tickets and cant use them. What else should I do.

You guys are confusing me- i just went on ticket city(unless i have the wrong ticket city)and there is nothing under $1160- whats the ticket city website- i feel like the price of tickets bottomed out and are starting to rise again.
Prices really went up tonight for some reason. Lowest price right now on TicketCity is $1160.00. Check early in the morning. For some reason, someone usually post about 20 tickets with a low price and they go quick. To my understanding, Stubhub market closes on Wednesday the 4th. Not sure if that may be causing ticket prices to jump a bit. I really can't help to think we will start see tickets start selling quicker in the next few days. Prices depend on what buyers are willing to pay. The $790.00 tickets went really quick.
Could someone post a pic of the back of the tickets. I have seen lots of pics of fronts. I am on way to buy some tickets and just trying to make sure I get the real thing. Thanks
