Liberals & Progressives have the 1st Amendment & all the freedom it espouses, to say & do what pleases them. The rest of us have political correctness to keep us in line, lest a perpetually-offended liberal be offended with thoughts outside his ability to comprehend.

Would I be called a racist if I were to start a thread titled "The 10 Most Overrated Black People"??

Absolutely!

Actually you will now be labeled a racist for even thinking about thinking about thinking about thinking about thinking about starting a list like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a similar note:

I was walking out of lunch the other day and a young larger black girl was wearing a shirt that said in large sequence grey letters, "Black Girls Rule". I thought about that shirt for the next few minutes and thought about what type of problems/implications would conspire if a large white redneck boy wore a shirt that said, "White Boys Rule".

Michael Jackson would make the top of both lists.

My point exactly. It seems that in America, at least today, racism seems to be a one-way street.
Case in point:

Now, if for instance, I were to say "My nominations for overrated (racial derogatory of your choice), I'd be banned from this board forever. It just seems strange to me that such latitude can be taken with people of one race while those of another race are held to such high standards.
