What do you think of y'all's team this season?
Our defense should be pretty good. D-line will be the strength and secondary will be close second. Only worry is Exum who is our physical corner had knee surgery and while he is saying he will be back, most smart fans will tell you we think he won't be back and probably for him, he shouldn't come back until ACC play. His backups played very well in spring, but definitely a drop off.
The Offense is the question mark. Grimes (new O-line coach from AU) came in and is making everyone re-earn they spot on the O-Line. There is a toughness being implemented that I have not seen since late 90's. As for Logan, last year he only trusted 1 receiver and when he threw to him, he was on, anyone else you could tell he was guiding passes or always trying to throw to a "safe" side. He does have the competitor in him to just take a game over and run 15-20 times and that is what he did near the end of our season just so we could break .500. Biggest addition is that we will have DJ Coles back and he was injured last year at TE/H-back; he will be our best receiving threat. The rest of the receivers are young and will have their day, just probably not this season. We redshirted Trey Edmonds last year at RB and he will most likely be our starter this year over the guys who played last year. He has the best speed/power combo of anyone we've got, and other than Logan I would say he has the best "star" power.
Special teams should be good. First time in a few years that we will have same kickers coming back, so it is nice to have some familiar faces.
Overall I think that Logan will have a good year and draft stock will go back up, but we'll probably go 8-5 or 9-4
