Actually the t and the i are slightly different. The i is completely connected and the t is not. So hopefully it is spelled correctly and just looks like it is misspelled because of the font selection

You assume they know what one is, and would know how to use it.

I've seen bits and pieces of those tattoo fix-it shows. The way they fix one is to cover it up, to where you can no longer see it. IOW, means an even bigger tattoo. Usually bears no relation to the one that needs fixin'.
