I think this could actually end up being a wake up call to JM and aTm where they copy the Auburn book on sequestering and silencing Cam. Up to now, I would have thought JM would not allow such oversight, but if there is substance to some of the investigation, his attitude could easily change and allow an official aTm entourage as opposed to hanging with folks like he has this off season. IOW he could become hyper-focused on football instead of melting down.

We already know based on that previous OTL article posted the other day that JM jet-set off season gave aTm Compliance Dept. fits trying to make sure he wasn't crossing the line...so this shouldn't be surprising, and once they start digging, there's likely more issues that may come to light. Remember in that article how his dad was mad about the school allowing the ncaa access to JM and his family's background/financials?

As to the NCAA penalty, I think the best reference point would be AJ Green's case (sold Jersey, got suspended for 4 games), and tOSU tattoo deals.

We're starting out at #1, but our schedule isn't exactly the toughest. For several reasons, we need TAMU at their best when we beat them in College Station

The teams BAMA plays aren't currently all stacked up inside the top ten, but most of the opponents who are NOT cupcakes are played on the road. That makes an otherwise easy schedule have some teeth.

I reckon we now know why he tweeted, "He can't wait to get out of college station", can't say I'm surprised this is happening, you could see the bad heading his way all summer long..What should be scary for Aggie Fans..It's only going to get worse for them & "Johnny Football" as long as he's playing football in College Station..

Knowing how the NCAA handles this I guarantee it, as Joe would say. ESPN is Not reliable on reporting stuff like this. My bet is that his personal assistant, we learned about made some deals.

I want to see Johnny Football playing on September 14 vs Bama. I suggest the Aggies and Johnny Football file a lawsuit against ESPN and the NCAA if anything happens. Make that a suit for $Billions$ or maybe even $Trillions$! Just the threat of a huge lawsuit will probably shut the NCAA up. There are enough Aggies with pockets deeper than the NCAA.

I don't like anyone violating NCAA rules but I'm still irritated with the NCAA and Phat Fulmer's and Kramer's SEC for what they did to Bama in the 1990's and early 2000's.

Hopefully, that will bring an end to the NCAA. We need an organization with rules that are not as thick as the IRS regulations. Rules that are easy to understand and comply with. Not rules that say "gottcha"! I think Bama tried to handle things in an honorable way only to later find that we were staring down the barrel of a cannon.

If he is ruled ineligible, isnt the penalty in these cases usually donate $$$ to charity and be re-instated after a 1 game penalty? Is there a slide scale of games vs $$$$?

Since when was the NCAA consistent with punishments?

I just read the ESPN article and I question their time line at FLL. He was on my flight, once we landed I walked straight to baggage claim and he was right behind me the entire time. I talked to him while we waited for bags. He took multiple pictures and walked out beside me to a waiting car, stopping me to say "Roll Tide" and making it known he felt we'd destroy ND. Now maybe the dealer was in the car but, if he was, it was pre-arranged and would be a bigger issue. Another thing they might look at is the asked for volunteers to get off the flight b/c it was over booked. Mysteriously JFF, Uncle Nate and Luke Joekel had 6 seats between them. Seeing 3 seats were empty, did they buy them?

There's no way this story is true. I've been trying to get my 3 A&M helmets autographed and no luck. If he's selling autographs, I want to know who can get the helmets autographed ASAP LOL.
