Offense looked potentially potent.... defense needs help on back end without Belue. Penalties hurt us. But this game gives CNS so much to work on. I almost feel sorry for rest of our schedule prior to LSU.

Sumlin, Mike Evans, and Manziel, regardless if you like them or not, they are legit.

This game is legitimately an instant classic with Bama being on the right side this time. I'm just glad time was on Bama side this year.

I will say this....this may be a product of being "in the moment" but, Manziel might be the best QB Saban has faced since becoming coach @ Bama.

I really don't care about our team not getting the first place votes.... I think it's a moot point. As long we finish the season strong, I couldn't care less about where we are in polls between now and the end of the season.
Great win, but I can see Oregon getting a lot of 1st place votes in the polls.

Maybe the best QB is college football history. I think Cam was a better overall player; however, he only played a season. Kind of like a hired hitman.

Wow...

Whether you like him or not, JFF is unbelievable. Evans is just massive. Sumlin is a good coach.

Aside from the ref's, I can't say anything bad about the game...any defense will look bad against them. Great win for us...

This is my take:
Offense- Definitely improved on our running game and passing game.
Defense: I saw some good, ugly and bad moments throughout the game. I think Coach Saban will take advantage of that and fix those mistakes. I think the secondary grew up today. They should be whole lot better going forth. We can't really place lot of blame on them. it was nearly 100 degree and it was hard to chase folks all over the field.

The fact we gave up 400 yards is somewhat concerning, but it's only second game of the season, I dont' think we'll see that kind of offense again this year, unless we see Bo Wallace blow up.

I don't believe you can defense Manziel and this A&M offense. Our 2011 defense would've struggled with them, IMO. I believe the offense really turned things around after the Va Tech game. Penalties were a huge drag on the game... False starts are very frustrating.

I hope everyone is healthy post game and Belue can come back. This was a game for the ages. I'm not a fan of giving up 42 points, but this A&M team is n a different level offensively.

I thought our DB's did a good job when you add up what they were against, it''s hard to compete with the blatant holding the refs let their O-Line get away with, that allowed their WR's to run all over the field to get open..I thought our DB's did good & will be fine if the refs calls penalties by the rule book..Luckily we had the talent to overcome the non calls that should've been called against The Aggie's..

Try 628 yards.

Arguing with my stepdad over Manziel, said "he's a punk" I said "yeah he is but he put up 42 on our defense".

It is hard to imagine how good Manziel is in that offense coupled with a true go to receiver like Evans makes them about impossible to stop more than about 2 out of 5 series.

I am so proud of our team for coming out on the right side of this classic. Our offense had to keep up with them to have a chance to win and that is exactly what they did. We have lots to focus on and improve on going forward, but I think we should be a much better team by the time we have a serious challenge again (LSU). We should have a real chance at another special season if we can improve and grow as a team between now and November. RTR!!

And props to our O-Line for winning this game, we won the game in the trenches, with a strong ruuning, due to our O-Line playing lights out..We have a really good O-Line..I honesty think V-Tech will have the best D-Line we'll face this year ..

Yep, he'd be a red zone gem in th league now. He's gone after this year.
Just find out that like Johnny Hashtag, Evans is a RS Sophomore, which might be the best news I've seen all day. Yeah, there virtual no chance Manziel and Evans are back @ College Station next year. So if I was Aggie I'd enjoy both while you till can. Evans reminded me so much of Brandon Marshall today.
