Tonight sucked. Like last year, Stanford plays it's best game of the year against us and we choked hard. They outclassed us, and it was embarrassing. Hopefully Mariota decides to come back and we get a shot at the title next year.

That said, if we can't go to the Natty, I'm rooting for you guys to win out and complete the greatest dynasty. Admire your program and your players and how you guys manage to fight through and avoid the 'choke' games like this. Your team oozes class and consistency. It's impressive. Best of luck the rest of the year! Cheers and Roll tide.

Classy post.....on the bright side, if y'all don't get to the Rose Bowl (I'm assuming Stanford will have to lose another PAC 12 game for y'all to have a shot), win out and maybe you'll get a shot at the Sugar Bowl and play a 10-2 Aubie team for a rematch. :)

Y'll will still have a great season & good luck the rest of the year..It's amazing how hard & better teams tend to play when you're one of the "Big Dogs" & has that x on your back..

Classy post, thank you. I have to say though, I thought your guys gave it a heck of a game there in the end. The way things were going I thought they might just pull it off. A comeback like that could have been the spark to propel the Ducks all the way. Still a great season and a few more games to win and celebrate. Good luck the rest of the year.

True class. I was really looking forward to our 2 power programs matching off. It would have been a great way to send out the BCS. I think you nailed it when you said, "choke." If Oregon plays Stanford 4 more times, Oregon wins 3 of them. Here's to Oregon getting revenge on our state rivals. :cheers2:

Great post.

Chin up, my duck friend. There is still a lot of football to be played. Win out and get a little help from the teams ahead of you and Oregon may be back in the picture. Losing a close game on the road to #5 should keep the Ducks within striking distance of the top 3.

Thanks for the post.

As Saban has said several times, there has been only one Pro team that has ever gone undefeated. Winning out is hard, especially when you have the pressure of controlling your own destiny. Ok St lasted 6 days as #1 last year before choking. And nobody is out of the woods yet - we have 3 tough games, FSU might lose one. Maybe we'll see how Baylor looks if they have to defend a high ranking.

Tactically, I was split whether I would have preferred Oregon or FSU. The thing that worries me about FSU is that they are very Bama-like, well-built throughout, solid, many former Saban coaches, etc. I'm not at all sure whether Oregon would not have been a better matchup for us.

Thanks for the post.

Dont give up yet anything could happen as we know.

I had just had enough of one of your so called fans (probably an API plant) raiding our board.

Good Luck, on the bright side Nike will make new unies for you now. :D

Except aubie ain't going 10-2. Both us and Georgia will beat them.

Good post. Y'all have a good team but in my objective opinion as long as there are teams like Stanford, Bama and even Fla State y'all will have a very hard time winning it all. You could see it in the UCLA game and it was more than obvious in last nights game. Y'all's offense and defense struggles against traditional style power/physical teams. It's cool to see the "blur" offense against weaker teams but I just don't think it can make hay against the more physical style teams.

I still don't believe FSU will finish undefeated. Baylor too. We may not be undefeated. November just got started. There's still a lot of football left. The NC possibility is still open for a lot of teams including Oregon. If you don't believe this, you did not watch the last few years of college football.
