1. Tell everyone who your favorite tidefans poster member is.
Rain check, will let y'all know when I know enough to decide.
2. You have to tell us your stance on white helmets.
Would love white helmets for a game here and there say against Arkansas or State where the other team has some form of red also. First Alabama poster my great uncle gave me (he was a longtime radio host in Alabama and interviewed and has pictures with the Bear) is of the team in white helmets. I think not only does it look great, but it pays great homage to our tradition. We wore them, embrace them. But as far as the Chrome, HECK NO. I design uniform concepts in my spare time, and that is not a good look for Alabama in real life. Collectors item, go for it, but stray away from the classics, no, not at Alabama, or for any of the original SEC schools for that matter. IMO.
3. You have to tell us who you hate more Auburn or Tennessee?
Hate Auburn more. Every thanksgiving growing up since I was old enough to remember has been a family feud over in good ole Tallassee between the family who made the 30 minute drive to Lee County and the "outcast" who decided to go to the good side and head on north to Tuscaloosa. Naturally I picked the good side early on, lived through the "Fear the Thumb" and all. I'm not really old enough (21) to remember Tennessee as a relevant rival to hate, but I know the history and hate the color, and I can remember them beating us here and there like when JPW was the QB. So Auburn for sure, it's a yearly thing for me.
4. You have to make fun of seebell
The names Seebell? Need I say more?
5. Sims? or Coker?
Whoever gives the team the best chance to win. As a future coach, so far it's Sims, but Coker has tremendous upside. But Sims is for the most part quick and crisp getting the ball out in space to Amari and co., he hasn't done anything to lose the job (good), or win it (not so good), but he has the players respect, he's earned it. Right now, he is the best option to win. Like I said though, Coker has
so much potential, the cannon for an arm and the size. But right now he's missing reads and throws that are not detrimental to the team, but to where he missed a touchdown and instead scrambled for a few yards. (Y'all may recall this play against FAU, it was in the red zone) which
could be detrimental in a game say like, Auburn, where points will not so much be at a premium, but as many as possible could be needed. That's just one example I saw that I can spit off the top of my head. But he will get there, you don't get a scholarship at Alabama with only 2 years of eligibility if you wont be the guy at some point. So I think it's Sims until Coker proves he's made the next step from "good enough" to great, and that's the little things like that that CLK and CNS are looking for. So is #TeamSaban acceptable?
