Wonder if he will be transferring to Arkansas. IIRC, he is from there and they were his #2 choice..

Don't think he can go to an SEC team right? I could be wrong though but I thought that was some type of rule

You earn your spot with hard work on the practice field or lose your spot from the lack of hard work just as easily apparently..Never get into Coach Saban's "Dog-House" cause it's not a place you come out of once you're in it..

He will have to sit out a year regardless, but he can go to Arkansas if CNS gives him a full release, ala Corey Grant to AU.

For better or worse, this almost certainly means that it will get Damien Harris on the field faster. That sounds like a "better" to me.

I doubt Bielema would take him since he said he won't take back players who decide to leave the state for another school if they want to come back. Plus yeah I doubt Saban would let him come to another SEC school.

He is good friends with KJ Hill though so that's interesting

That is true, but CNS has to allow it to happen. If CNS doesn't give a full release, he could still transfer, but he'd have to sit out 2 years.

I really don't think there is a guarantee at Arkansas that he would start. I could see him starting at Arkansas State if he went "home".

He can go anywhere he wants with or without Saban's blessing. The release is only a matter of scholarship. If he went to Arkansas and we didn't want him to, it just means he'd have to pay his own way.

At least he had it for Dyer. Maybe it would be diffefent in this case since Tenpenny is respectful about the whole thing...but if he had off the field problems like you guys are saying he probably wouldn't take him anyways since we just kicked off RB Korliss Marshall for weed.

It's supposed to discourage Arkansas recruits from going elsewhere since we don't have that many highly rated in state guys each year we need to keep them home

You can tell Broyles isn't the AD., he would welcome him back if there were no issues. If CBB had more self-esteem he wouldn't need to create such a rule. What a tool! However I could see him at ASU.

I can see the recruiting pitch. Son, if you don't come to Arkansas you can forget about returning to the state . I'd send my kid somewhere else just for spite!

Yup, would have to pay 1st year only... I'd think if their was no off the field issues and he wanted to go back home Saban would grant his release.
