I don't know... I wonder if other coaches saw how the fans responded to Grant's coming back for one year and how battle was pressured to fire Grant... No coach want to come to Alabama under that situation... I don't know I'm just speculating and I have no idea what i'm talking about.

Del Rio is out, but Jon Gruden is still in the running. As is Houston Nutt.

Maybe so, but in his last 3 years of coaching (with the Nets), he won 34% of his games. Prior, he had an excellent record with the Mavs, with a dang-good roster.

Not an Avery Johnson fan, be tough to get behind that. Just for discussion, if we looked the asst. with potential route (with NBA ties), what about someone like Damon Stoudamire from Az?
