Question: Which Juniors will leave early for the NFL? Just Henry and A'Shawn So Far

Re: Which Juniors will leave early for the NFL?

Keeping Tim Williams could be huge. Replacing the starting down three is gonna be tough but there is some depth there which is encouraging.

I'm assuming Harrison is gonna start at safety next to Jackson and hopefully Brown will head his head down and grow in the offseason into a replacement for Cyrus Jones.

Brown will be a safety if he works his way back into the good graces of his coaches and teammates. Minkah should replace Cyrus and has a higher ceiling as a CB.

JustinT256 is right though, Brown may be a safety hybrid at star if he earns his way back into the lineup.

Regarding OJ, two broken coverages in a high profile don't necessarily guarantee a high draft position. His most impressive play of the night was the wheel route that showcased his speed. But if I were a GM, I would wonder why there were so few highlights over a three year career.

Oh they'll go back and see all those wide open drops..

Re: Which Juniors will leave early for the NFL?

Lets not poor-mouth a player. I think an extra year would really help OJ because going out on one big game is a risky venture that will rely on a pristine combine showing. The young man is talented and never really had production to match his ability. Some of it is on him, some of it is on the direction the offense went in 2015 lead to limited opportunities and more blocking. He could be a good NFL TE but he's risking A LOT to declare this year.

Anderson and Williams off the edge next season might be the best pass rushing duo we have had under Saban.

BOOM!

Seriously, assuming Foster returns, next year's defense will likely be better than this year - the run D will be close to this year's and the (young) secondary will be even better.

Just sick.

Foster is the key at this point. If Foster stays, we are in amazing shape. If Allen hangs around, wow....

Re: Which Juniors will leave early for the NFL?

Hamilton was getting more playing time in the postseason. Same for Evans. Getting some pre-depth, ya know?

Tim Williams and OJ Howard staying would be huge for the 2016 unit. Already got a lot of offense returning and a deceptive amount of experience on defense.

The players have their presser at 2. Right now, there are only 3 chairs.

Henry, Robinson and Allen? That would be sweet if that's the case..

Re: Which Juniors will leave early for the NFL?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Henry, Robinson, and Allen are gone at a minimum. Struggle to believe that Allen and Robinson didn't get first round grade.

I am almost positive they did. McShay had our 3 DL and Reggie in his top 26 and Kiper had all of them in his to 19. While they are not always right I think they all received 1st round grades and are gone.

I will be very pleased if Reuben and OJ sticks along with Tim, Ryan and EJ.

The thing about grades is that they probably give 40-60 guys "1st round grades" based on the advisory boards poll of franchise front offices.

Re: Which Juniors will leave early for the NFL?

I expect it to be Robinson and Henry. 3rd chair should be Saban. Now, doesn't mean anything... There could be others that Saban doesn't approve
