I've read that carrying a water gun (squirt gun) in the vicinity of the convention will get you arrested...a real gun, no problem.
The only thing I can think of in my head as a reason is that someone could fill it with some kind of poison or acid that could be harmful to others. Maybe?

but other than that, you're totally cool with the gays.
Absolutely.
The US is comprised of many different races, religions and nationalities of people. All those are comprised of individuals free to think, worship (or not) and act as we want (within the law). No one is persecuted for how they think or believe. Yet we all live peacefully together without going to war with each other because we're not all alike, or at least we're supposed to. (I'm not going off on a separate tangent here irt the criminal elements).
That's what makes America great.

Is it just me or is the gay community acting a bit like Isis? If you don't believe as they do, they're ready to take your head off...
I was in San Francisco during Pride weekend a couple of weeks back and it was terrifying mobs of dudes wearing next to nothing and running through churches and just slaughtering innocents like the caliphate to Yzidi's

oh wait no it was just a bunch of people having fun and getting to be the best version of themselves

you'd have hated it

No, I'd just have hated to be there. Instead, I was doing my thing while they were doing theirs. I'm sure those that were in attendance would have hated being in my company. As it was, we were all happy in our own ways. See how well that works out?

Never been a fan of them but man do I love this

Third Eye Blind trolling the GOP

The ’90s rock band Third Eye Blind, known for their WB-ready hits “Semi-Charmed Life” and that song from Can’t Hardly Wait, trolled a crowd of Republicans in attendance at their concert in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention. Frontman Stephen Jenkins discussed his gay cousins, and how the band rejects the party’s anti-LGBT platform—to loud boos from the crowd at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “To love this song is to take into your heart the message, and to actually—actually—have a feeling to arrive and move forward, and not live your life in fear, and imposing that fear on other people,” he said, before launching into their tune “Jumper.” At another point, Jenkins also jokingly asked the crowd, “Raise your hand if you believe in science?” to a chorus of boos.

Inquiring minds want to know - Why is Bret Baier of Fox news hoarding mustard at the RNC convention?
The hoarding starts at about 1:15:biggrin:
