Wow, this was a shocker. So sad...It looks like it may be related to depression. Depression is such a serious thing.

I read that he was a spokesman for juvenile diabetes so just guessing that he probably had it and that could explain dying at 61.

Saunders was diabetic AND recently wrote a book about his struggles with depression.

It's the latter that has me more concerned right now - on the anniversary of Robin Wiliams's suicide no less.

I was thinking the same thing, given the hushed nature of his cause of death.
