Congrats to Jalen Hurts for a great game...
Our Running Backs kind of disappeared till the game was on the line.
Our Defense is still broken, it needs work.
We didn't stop MSU rushing attack till the very end of the game.
MSU muscled our line the whole game.

I have to give credit to Dan Mullen for his game plan. It nearly worked.

From game 1 he played the kid does not get rattled or let emotions run his game. This guy makes cool hand luke look like a emotional basket case. For youngsters google cool hand luke LOL

Man. I can only imagine the negative nellies in the game thread. I chose to stay out of it plus I had company.

Glad to get the win. Guys played hard. Hurts is a tough dude.

We have to figure something out on defense the next two weeks. There's one particular player that had a horrible game, but I won't get on him today.

At least we had no injuries.

I am about to go in and look at it. I kind of like rewinding games to see the fans after their hearts have been ripped out, so seeing the negative posts could be enjoyable knowing how things turned out.

If Florida chooses to go after an unproven coach instead of Mullen, they're pretty stupid. I'm not saying he's the best candidate there is, but I'd take him over any hot shot coordinator or cupcake conference coach.

UF should try to get Mullen.
But Mullen would be crazy to go.

He will be praised by MSU for a moral victory tonight and get raises and contact extensions any time he has a 9 win season.

That level of performance gets you fired at UF....

Yea, he’ll get a little better talent at UF, but Mullen won’t be out recruiting Saint Mark Richt, Jimbo Fulmer, Kirby Smart or Nick Saban - all of whom will be battling him for top FL recruits.

It’s not like he’s “automatically” going to be signing Top-5 classes.

Just glad PI isn’t a spot foul.

We owned the fourth quarter. Held the ball for 9:35 compared to just 11:29 the first three. Led in first downs 12-3 and outgained them 192-34. Most importantly, outscored them 14-3.

Don’t laugh, but I don’t watch games much anymore. I take the games way too seriously. So I usually plug in Eli and do yard work, clean the kitchen, etc. My dad’s in town and he loves watching games. Oh. My. Gosh! I thought I was going to puke! Great comeback win!

That type of consistency definitely deserves positive recognition. There were a few times, though, where I wondered why we went away from the run to force passes. I'm most concerned about how our defense got absolutely pushed around tonight. The good thing, though, is that we won. Roll Tide!

I spent the game in the company of Bodhi (he is an even more delightful a conversationalist in person than on line). Thanks Bodhi for the good company.
Two John Adams Rebel IPAs and a Stella later, I felt no stress over the outcome at all.
Really impressed by the resilience of this team and especially Jalen. A very impressive young man. As cool as the other side of the pillow...

I quit reading too. It was really embarassing to read it. It's the reasong I rarely check the game threads!

I had to give up the game threads several years ago. I have an eeyore streak in me, and I don't want to feed it.
