Where do we stand? 2/5

Well, we have picked up three studs today with only two more on the board (Waddle & Langham). ITS is still a possibility (qualifying issue notwithstanding) but looks like we are going to have 3 or more spots to fill. I know there is a plan in place for this but I would still bet a walk on or two could get some good news this year.

The good news - is that he will be able to use the Press Reports that Bama is on the decline as motivation for 2018.....and 2019 recruiting....

I just don't think we take a 6th DB in this class.

This...and the fact that expectations are now going through the roof for UGA to win it all from now on. You can't tell me that won't go to the UGA freshmen's heads at some point. I think we are still in a great spot. CNS knows exactly how to use it all.

You know he's on the phone with 2019 kids at this moment. He's not waiting until tomorrow.

Saban and Locksley and Tosh and Burns and Golding and Scott and Banks and Dunbar and Enos and Gattis and Key and and and…

Alabama has lost three OC's and two DC's over the last two years, basically the recruiting time of this class, and is still going to have a top 5 class.

I'd say we are doing pretty good.

That's the big picture... and is what matters.... Not many other schools could go through that many coordinators in such a short time frame and STILL remain in the top 5, or top 20 for that matter!

There is a reason Saban made a big staffing change this year. Frankly, the 2017 staff under-performed in recruiting. If we have another class like this in 2019 then we'd have cause for concern (not panic though). It doesn't seem to be going that way. I think we already have as many commits as we had around Summer of last year for this incoming class.
