Saban's staff is always going to have more turnover than, for example, a mid-pack program. His assistants are always going to be in high demand and switching programs is the traditional advancement ladder for them. This year is a bit unusual, though, because he felt the staff needed retooling for recruiting purposes. The shift is definitely towards younger. As usual, I approve of what he's doing... :D

LOL!

You never hear about this problem with barn assistants...

Absolutely. It`s the flip side of the " success coin ". All successful organizations develop people. Those people will always be in high demand. Personally, I`m glad that we are in a situation that creates this " problem ". We`re hated, envied, and respected all at the same time!

Completely agree myself. Just thinking about the youth he’s brought in, makes me think he setting up for a great final run!

Makes sense. We lost some of our Miami area connections with Cristobal leaving. Been a good place for us in recruiting...not many but the ones we've signed have been big time.

Sounds like he announced his departure ahead of Alabama's hiring. Feldman got the scoop.

He was fabulous at Missouri. They had one of, if not the most, disruptive DLs in the SEC while he was at Missouri. This was with 2 and 3 star recruits. It seemed like every year for the first 3 or 4 years in the SEC, they sent DL to the NFL. He would not be a homerun hire, down by 3, but a 2 out, bottom of the ninth grand-slam hire - at least as far as coaching goes. Don't know anything about his recruiting or evaluation prowess, though the latter is likely very good. His kids seem to love him.

Kuligowski coached 24 players on his defensive line to all-conference honors and four first-round NFL draft picks. He trained big name players including Shane Ray, Markus Golden, Michael Sam and Ziggy Hood.

If this is true, he probably becomes the best on field coach of Saban's tenure, including Pruitt and Burns. He is a difference maker.

This is the most exciting assistant coaching hire I can remember. I don't know how good he is against the run, but there may be no one better at developing great pass rushing DLs. As he is coming down the home stretch, Coach Saban is out doing himself. This is thrilling .

In 2017 and 2018 he pulled a couple of nice 4 stars. I feel like besides his obvious coaching ability, he seems like he might be a lifer as a position coach. Just my opinion though.
