I'm going to be a little shocking here, I suspect that we're gonna see the occasional pre-bye malaise we suffer versus Tennessee. We're kinda dinged up and Tennessee is flying high. I suspect our on and off linebacker deficiencies through the first 7 games will be a source of some of the heartburn. I have a sneaking suspicion that we play Jalen Hurts more in this game in the early portions and maybe even take over most of the 2nd half if we can get some wiggle room. If there ever was a time to lean on the rare case of QB depth, Tua nursing a knee sprain is the time to do it.

17? Ouch. That’s like losing almost That will cause bans and suspensions if that happens.

If Tua plays 3/4 of a game 60-10
If Jalen plays 3/4 of a game 42-10

Regardless I smoke 3 cigars
I like the confidence in Jalen to roll up points[emoji2]. If Tua gets on the field after warmups I doubt it goes past a couple of series. I still think it 50/50 whether he plays at all. My guess is no one will really know until Saturday.

Jalen has had some of his better games vs Tennessee. True Pruitt knows how to stop him, but does he have the folks good enough to stop him? I think not

Right now it shows 80 percent chance of rain, high of 60 for Sat. on the Weather Channel app. I know that could change, and hopefully it will. We don't need the rain to cause a wild game and more injuries.

I think TN looks much better the past few weeks. Pruitt will have them ready. Their QB looks much better than last year. We will still beat them a good margin though.

If Jalen plays most of game, Coach does not need to call many run plays for him. We need Jalen and Tua healthy for the remainder of the season.

All of our RBs are pretty fresh at this point in the season. I can see an emphasis on shortening the game and feeding those guys.

Still, big play-action shots will be there to be had and either the defense or special teams will get a score. Perhaps both.

Bear in mind that their leading tackler will miss the first half for targeting and one of their best defenders (and senior leaders) Kongbo was lost for the season to a knee injury Saturday. Carry on.

38-10...if TT does not play. 48-10 if he does...I don't think CNS will run up the score on JP. With a comfortable lead he will take the air out of the ball as he did this last week. (But I have been wrong before...)

BTW -- JH is the perfect QB to do that...he knows how to not turn it over and keep the sticks moving against inferior talent.

The banged up receiver corp makes me think this could be a struggle win, 2018 Bama style. Bama 31-10.
