This would shock LSU. Let him play a while and keep it close. Then put Tua in, and shut up all the talking heads about can he finish a game. Let Tua come in and put up 35 in second half. Just to mix things up and keep LSU on their toes. Time to ground and pound first half and show we can still beat teams running. Then open up the pass 2nd half to show we can do what we want when we want. I read an article in readers digest once about to great chess champs who always ended matches in a draw. Then some chess guy told one of the champs, sometimes you have to sacrifice the queen at the start. No champ would know how to respond to such a bold move. Lets be bold and do the opposite, run em tired first half and then eat em alive passing second half. Just the opposite of what we have been doing. I can hear the talk now if we did this and still won by 30.

This offensive line hasn't shown the ability to consistently run block with the most explosive and accurate passer in college football today, what makes you think they can open holes with a wishbone quarterback under center?

Ni I did not forget blue font. Bama has beat almost everyone for the last 9-10 yrs running, are you guys afraid to run at LSU? At some point we will have to run to win.No one, not even Tua, is perfect. Even the best have been shut down, so we better be ready to run when needed. I think it would shock LSU to see us come out and run he ball. They would take a few series to adjust, and then toss in Tua and rip em a new one. I cannot believe Bama fans are afraid to lean on our run game. I mean jeez we have 4 great backs and both QB's can run well. I would like to see a 50 50 balance at least. I love Tua ripping teams hearts out but it is also fun to watch teams get mad when they cannot stop our run game. I would like to remind folks BAMA can do both on anyone. Imagine that message, Yes Tua is great but do not sleep on those running backs. Time to become the true 2 headed monster we ARE.

If you are right lets find out now against LSU one of the best defenses we may see. if it does not work then pass it and win, but let i tbe known so we can work on it. At some point we may have to run the ball to win, would that be the time to try it?

We are beating every team we play into oblivion with Tua directing the show. Why in the world would we do anything different?

Now that would be funny but I have to agree with BIGTide...

Every team in America would love to see Alabama employ this strategy, which probably means that it isn't a good one.

This is about winning championships, right? Or is this about proving some sort of manhood? Tua is your best chance to win this and every game on your schedule.

Plus, with Jalen's ankle, he probably is significantly less effective for doing what he does best.

Did you know that he's battling a high ankle sprain and had a procedure done this week?

Keeping it close for a while would be a mistake. It would just give LSU more confidence. We need to start Tua and try to bury them early and take the crowd out of the game, maybe even forcing some of them to leave.

I wouldn't mind putting Jalen and Tua out there on the first drive though. Maybe force LSU out of their early game plan by making them go to a package (especially if we can get a good prediction on their adjustment to it). We've only shown a few things too. Hurts has run a jet sweep, he's taken a jet sweep and reversed field for a pass, he's been the hot receiver on a normal RPO play. Haven't seen all that much creativity. At some point we're gonna see something like this but with Jalen Hurts at QB:
