Jalen will get a ton of snaps in practice. No way Tua is ready for the first practice. He might be ready for the playoff, but he will not be mobile.

What kind of procedure can they do for high ankle sprain?
Saban said "scope", but I don't think that there is an arthroscopic procedure for high ankle sprains. My guess it the tightrope procedure. Google it.

Based on what I have viewed on the procedure from Dr. Andrews practice and their normal prognosis for return to practice I conjectured that Jalen's injury was more severe than what was initially described. Obviously Tua's injury could be more or less severe than Jalen's. Only time will tell. Here is the video from an orthopedic surgeon at Dr. Andrew's practice:

Jalen said he just now is getting back to normal after his high ankle sprain surgery on 10/21. I don't feel good about this at all for Tua, he seems like he gets hurt easy and maybe a slow healer. We may be riding Jalen through the playoffs.

I'm reading different medical websites about high ankle sprains and this so called "tightrope" procedure and they all suggest that recovery time is much greater than 2 weeks.

If that's the case then it may be 50-50 on whether Tua is ready. Saban was initially too optimistic on Jalen's injury.
Maybe - recovery time depends on the severity of the injury, not the procedure. Tua was walking around after the game. Jalen could not walk after his injury.
