Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
Leath’s screw up is that he’s a fool for trying to have a hand in the AD. Presidents should remain aloof on athletic matters, and what we’re seeing is why.

He got on people’s bad side when he made it clear that he wanted Pearl gone. Allen Greene, who we are actually quite happy with, went to bat for Pearl and that’s why we retained him. Now Greene wants Gus gone, but Leath screwed the pooch with the bad contract and Greene doesn’t have as much say in that matter as he should as a result.

Too many hands in the pie. Greene should run the AD and that’s that.

His wikipedia page is hilarious: President Leath is currently trying to organize the demise of Auburn Football. He has successfully made the University the laughing stock of the SEC. Where can he go from here? Only time will tell.... STAY TUNED

What's so bad is it was last edited 2 days ago and anyone can edit Wikipedia but not one person that has visited that page has changed it. I bet thousands of people a day visit Leaths Wikipedia but no one has changed it in 2 days.

He's earned his opprobrium. Jacob's wasn't responsible for Gus's current contract. That was Leath.
In addition to that, he‘s trying to screw Gus after the fact. That rubbing a lot of people the wrong way. Either fire Gus and lay down in the bed you made with the buyout, or let Gus do his thing.
Gotta disagree with you on that. No way that Leath promises money like that on his own. Somebody in the PTB/BOT/TUF threw that figure at him and he ran with it...

I doubt that Leath monitors his Twitter or Wiki any more...at least not until things settle down. :rolleye2:

Looks like Bobby Bentley at South Carolina is now the object of Gus’ affection as the possible OC hire.
Of course. Bentley was an analyst under Gus from 2014-2015. He can’t get anyone not already associated with him.

This only continues Auburn’s offensive problems.

And he is an ex-high school coach which is pretty much a prerequisite with Gussy.
