But what would have been the better selection by the CFBPC??

Georgia.... They JUST got smoked by LSU themselves
or
Oregon.... 2 Loss Pac-12 team
or
Baylor.....2 Loss Big12 who lost to Oklahoma TWICE
or
Wisconsin 3 Loss Big10 team who lost to tOSU TWICE
or
Florida 2 Loss SEC East Runner up??
or
Penn St 2 Loss BIG10 East Runner Up??

I mean they didn't have a clear cut choice really.

Alabama was clearly better than all of those teams. Somehow Alabama wasn't even ranked in the top 10.

If you rank purely on W/L, okay. This is how you end up with an obvisouly undeserving team like OU backing in again.

If you rank them according to the 'eye test', its pretty obvious Bama is the 4th best team.

IDK if we should be in ahead of OU (with our backup qb), but OU is the egalitarian choice.
