I honestly have no idea what he is going to do, I just hope whatever he decides is the best decision for him.

I will say that I find it hard to believe that a franchise is going to invest the type of money that comes with a top 10 pick in him based off of what we've seen. I love Tua as much as anyone but I'm scared literally anytime he is contacted. I can't imagine having millions of dollars riding on him staying healthy based off of what I've seen. My brother isn't much of a fan of football outside of watching Bama games. He thought Lawrence was hurt 3 times watching the OSU Clemson game but he got up. I realized he is just conditioned from watching Tua for two years and the numerous trips to the tent he's taken. The talent is there but to this point the durability is not. The NFL is a longer season with bigger faster athletes (although the rules protect the QB a bunch they still get creamed).

That is why I tend to think that he will come back because I'd be hard pressed to invest millions and ultimately the hope of your franchise on what I've seen to this point. That's with me being a Bama fan, the NFL guys aren't Bama fans they are just making decisions of what they've seen on tape.

I voted that Tua returns. I am not sure how I feel about if he should return or go to NFL since I don't know what his draft evaluations truly were. I do know his dad wants him to finish his degree, he is a team player, and very faith/family oriented.

It truly will be one of the toughest decisions of his life. If he does return, I hope Mac Jones stays and Bryce stays for the long haul. I think the QB situation will be good if Tua leaves, but selfishly , it would be nice to see him get a chance to win another title. I think his dad makes the final decision, though they would not say that to the public.

I voted Tua returns simply because there is no guarantee he is going to be ready for the combine and then the NFL season to come. WIll a team gamble on that? Conventional wisdom says NO but weirder things have happened. My concern is for his health now and in long term. Having been there with knee injuries/surgery in my college years, my doctor put it to me this way - "I cannot guarantee you will not have another injury and what the results of that will be but I can guarantee if you choose to stop right now, you will be able to play with your kids when you turn 40." I chose to stop and I am in my 50s and still playing with my grown kids. I pray Tua makes the right decision.

I don't understand the part we need Mac more then Tua. If Tua stays you have Tua, Taulia and Bryce. If he leaves you have Mac, Taulia, Bryce. There is no more chance that Tua gets hurt then if Mac gets hurt. If Tua stays you will actually get more snaps in the preseason and spring for either his brother or Bryce because Tua doesn't need those extra reps with the starters like Mac still does. Give me Tua and the other two as backup options over Mac and the back up options any day of the week.

If he stays you have Tua - no one else is a known. And even Tua is not a known.

You need Mac next year.

I think Mac has proven he is more than capable as a starter for a program like Alabama. An elite program. Frankly, he has shown he is capable of being at least the 2nd best Nick Saban QB. I said shown capability... not that it has happened yet. So you've got that in your pocket. If he leaves, you've got nothing. Tua has yet to make it through a full season as a starter. Had there been a game the following week after the Georgia SEC title game, he would not have played. So, like it or not, odds are he is not going to make it through the entire season next year. Then we would have absolutely no idea what would take his place.

I think he will stay but will not play. He needs to get healthy and can do that at Alabama while finishing his degree. He gets to have another year with his brother and can help all the quarterbacks at the same time. Who knows he may want to coach someday.

I heard Laura Rutledge say Tua has another Dr. appointment/checkup tomorrow to check the blood flow, etc.. she thinks that may have something to do with him saying he's announcing on Monday. Also, classes at UA start Wednesday. I know he could start classes and withdraw if he changes his mind and does go to NFL, but him announcing a few days prior to class may suggest he stays.

I agree. I think he can improve his stock by demonstrating that he is recovered and hopefully shows better judgement in protecting himself...

As much as I would love to see Tua come back to Alabama, I think the best decision for him is to go pro and take his time rehabbing. He won't be forced to start right away wherever he lands. Remember, Aaron Rodgers sat on the bench behind Brett Favre to start his career. He turned out to be pretty decent. In the end though, it's his decision and we should be happy either way.

I keep hearing people say he might stay but not play. There is not any benefit of doing this in my opinion. He can get treatment from an NFL team and get paid at the same time. Why would you want to stay just for treatment and not get paid?🤔

If he goes, it is with the assumption that he is a first round pick. Nobody drafts a qb in the first round to sit him for a year or three...

I think he goes to the NFL. It seems in recent days more and more of the so called "experts" in the media think he may stay, and majority opinion is usually wrong. I don't think he wants to risk another serious injury at Bama.
