Former Tennessee coach Butch Jones, currently a special assistant to Alabama's Nick Saban, was named the next head coach at Arkansas State on Saturday.

Good for Butch Jones. It takes a lot for an Ex Head Coach to humble himself enough to step back and admit that he doesn't know everything and to try to soak up knowledge from the best for a few years. I hope he is a success at Arkansas State.

Great for him...his money from UT was drying up. I wonder if the former QB from Bama is still there?

Layne Hatcher is his name...and he is still there. Redshirted at Bama in 2018. On one Saturday in the 2019 season he, Tua and Jalen (at OU) all threw for over 400 yards. That meant in 2018 all 3 were in the same QB room at Bama.
